Founded in 1968 by Jim, Carol and Mark Hanna, Mectron inspection systems is a family owned company that provides the most up to date inspection systems for fasteners, cold formed and deep drawn products. Mectron has been dedicated to research and development since its formation, and has strived to advance the field of inspection. Mectron inspection system’s product development team has been awarded many patents on laser and eddy current inspection systems and continues to innovate with its current patent pending technology. 

Mectron’s quality control systems use eddy current, laser and vision systems to provide the most advanced inspection on the market today. Individual parts are scanned and measured as they pass through Mectron’s high speed systems and sorted based on the standards set for each individual machine. Products are inspected for dimensions, foreign material, thread defects, part damage, metallurgical defects, hardness, cracks, surface defects, etc.
